What Is Computer Literacy, and Why Does It Matter?

Enabling Basics provides free, Houston-based computer literacy courses for individuals with limited digital access. Our program teaches foundational skills like using a keyboard, browsing the internet, and writing emails. These lessons support everyday needs, including job applications, telehealth visits, and schoolwork. We believe digital access leads to greater independence, confidence, and opportunity.
