  • Enabling Basics is a Houston-based nonprofit that offers free computer literacy resources and instruction. We focus on foundational digital skills to help people gain confidence and independence through technology.

  • Our courses are designed for adults age 18 and older with little or no computer experience. We focus on serving individuals facing financial or housing insecurity, but all learners are welcome.

  • All courses are completely free. Our work is made possible by donations from community members and supporters.

  • No. In-person sessions include all necessary equipment. For online learning, we can help connect you with local resources if you do not have access to a device.

  • You can begin learning anytime by visiting the Intro to Digital Confidence page. Lessons are available online and do not require sign-up.
